Minimum wage is a politicians tool to attract those who have no skill training or college degree to approve of them.

It seems to me that the social safety net attracts approval of those who do not work.

So then you need to work up the scale of nonworkers to low wage workers.

Give them all food stamps and free health benefits.

Now you have them locked into an never improving lifestyle and they will always vote for you - their only hope.

This has worked so successfully that we literally have no more discretionary funds to spend on improving the governments services that may just benefit the working class - like say infrastructure roads and airports and in a few places train.

The lack of advancement for those stuck in these entry level / low skill jobs is a big reality when you view business in a low or slow growth economy.

Its time for tough love with this sector.

Each person needs to have a finite amount of food stamps, unemployment, and job skills training available over the course of their lives.

When they know that the big teat of government is about to expire - the unemployed will make a concerted effort to take a job and begin what every young person knows - entry level sucks.

I have several friends who live in Wisconsin. They have a high school degrees and are unemployed. To extend the unemployment, they attend Lakeshore Technical School which extends their unemployment checks.

What you never hear the politicians talk about (which proves they are out of touch with the common folk) is the underground employment with cash payments as the basis of reward for services.Barter is another.

When you bump up the minimum wage and of add health benefits you increase the cost of employment.

With these increases in cost of employment - so too does the wage scale of the underground cash /side job worker increase.

These moves all make side job/ cash basis pay scales escalate.

As the underground pay rates escalate - more people leave the search for employment - they've found gainful employment - they are just not goinq to the government to report they need work.

In fact they absolutely DO NOT WANT the government to know anything about them - they are in effect hiding and trying to get off the grid.

The moving of taxation to these people is why a fair tax could be so low for all and yet be a windfall to the government.Even the drug dealer would pay.

If you have a high paying job - you can become a big saver/investor class.

If you are sliding on being an American - you now have some skin in the game.

Everybody needs a break when they fall on hard times.

I've got nothing against giving everybody a "Fair Shot" as Obama calls it.

I've everthing against giving a dead beat a free ride forever on my non take home wage tax.

It is wealth redistribution and politicains buying votes for themselves with my hardearned money.

It has been going on for decades.

To the degree that ghettos are perpetually a reality is proof that the free handout has not brought about the desired lift out of that low income lifestyle.

Its time for tough love.It is time for a drug test for any social safety net recipient also.

It will not happen until the wage earners get tired of being over taxed.

When we all find out that Obamacare is exactly what the supreme court determined it to be - another tax on the workers, and the largest wealth redistribution scheme yet to be imposed on us without even the facts being known up front .

We all will have the" I've been lied to" and worse yet "I've been fucked again".

A backlash will release itself and as our buddy the Mayor of Chicago so eloquently It would be a shame to let a tragedy not be taken advantage of.

I say modify the AHA and social safety net all at the same time and limit the social saftey hand outs after everyone gets health care sufficient enough to ensure they are able bodieid workers.

Comes a revolution that will be powered by the hard workers in America who have had enough of the wealth distribution crap and a generation or two of failed social safety excuses.

Bust it out to the states.

Non one can administer social services better than at the local level.

For those states who are OK with generational dead beats - their costs will be high and all of the deadbeats will go there.

For those states that frown on that type of waste - their costs and taxes will be low and that will attract the worker / saver class.

End of rant and no I will not run for president.lol
