That was a pretty shocking story yesterday..... People are being forced into Medicare and unbeknownst to many of them is the fact that Medicare will go after their estates once they're dead..... Not that big of a problem before since most people on Medicare were poor. Now that they've lowered the requirements for Medicare that's no longer the case......... It was Medicaid, not Medicare. And I'm sure that's always been the case, at least for nursing home expenses paid by Medicaid.
