That was a pretty shocking story yesterday..... People are being forced into Medicare and unbeknownst to many of them is the fact that Medicare will go after their estates once they're dead..... Not that big of a problem before since most people on Medicare were poor. Now that they've lowered the requirements for Medicare that's no longer the case.........
It was Medicaid, not Medicare. And I'm sure that's always been the case, at least for nursing home expenses paid by Medicaid.

Geoff...Medicare and Medicaid are as different as night and day -- or it used to be before Ovomit got here.

Still, people pay into Medicare their whole working life and then when they are on it, they still pay. Only the freeloaders get to freeload.
