Thanks very much for your comments, I.N. Like you, I also have my retirement nestegg totally wrapped up in Valence. And I'm determined to retire! This is not my "speculation money" - I don't have any of that. And right now my protfolio shows a six-digit loss due to this slide, but though it's depressing to look at I'm not overly concerned. I find this drop in the share price an interesting glimpse into human psychology, when it comes right down to it. A number of individuals who until recently were enthusiastic supporters of the company are now seeing all manner of sinister meanings behind everything that's happening, doubting the honesty of those who comment more positively, and so forth. Am I being naive by not being quite as suspicious? Well, consider this: If the stock recovers 3 points, say next week after Wolanchuk's appearance on NBR, I'm betting that this skepticism evaporates almost instantly. Should we see a 4 or 5 point rise soon, folks will be dancing on their keyboards! I rest my case. Best regards to one and all, - T -

God bless us everyone. we've come a long way the last days from discussing production details to pray that god will bless us...i guess with $$$. Well another possibility is that FMK will be the devil but by that time we all will be in Hell! Slowly i can understand what made the investors after the last pump and dump action feel like trying a lawsuit. FMK were you around that time also? You're awfully quiet lately? What do your inside "sources" tell you? Oh before i forget. The last time they couldn't produce batteries (not inflated stock prices) the stock fell to a low of 1 3/8. So there is still some downside potential here especially for the big investor at 8.5 average who is still so optimistic!! One last thought: i guess it's more us people holding the bag that get a little p...ed off lately whereas people like hcirteg can speculate nicely since they're watching the action from the sidelines(posted on yahoo). Since you Gordon seem highly irritated i assume you're long too. What are your plans? Pray for the help of god(FMK i think can't help you here brother! and the market will tank tommorrow too and can't help since the futures point in the direction of a NAZ opening around 25points down and Hongkong, malaysia, s.korea and thailand are all down between 5.5 and 7%), sell part at the low to reduce downside risk which will be offset by a good upside potential if the real thing happens which i heavily doubt here...? I guess the whole thing is getting to us if we need faith. I never really thought that VLNC was a church organization?? Stefan P.S.I know i'm whining but it's so painful..boohhoo...especially my own stupidity being lured by a story and overlooking the screaming stop signs from the charts!!

I.N. Vester To FMK et al. I am the war scarred financial advisor now a reformed broker at a bank. We can't put VLNC on our lists but as an old friend said "the first blood shows up on the tape".Based on my info the stock is a buy here. The company can't and probably won't comment until that elusive order comes in hopefully this month or early 98. Given no sane institution in the stock, it becomes a traders paradise.( or a margin clerk's nightmare). If I get any confirmation I will do my 2nd post!
