First of all, your mother should know who the hell her doctor is and whether he accepts Medicare. Secondly, there is nothing wrong with walk-in clinics for routine problems and a fever is a routine problem unless it's the flu for which she didn't get a flu shot... Thirdly don't blame Medicare or Obamacare as you're trying to do because Arkansas sucks with regard to their healthcare system..... Little Rock is a city of 200,000 with only 10 GP's? That's what I mean by the Goober Nation. I understand that most providers there are only PA's, Medicare or not.... I just happen to live in a county with about 250,000 that we consider being local and we must have about 1,000 MD's, not PA's..... Also, I believe the one Medicare site I sent you contained nothing but General Practitioners.... YOU're Welcome!!
