The International Conference on Climate Change is a conference series organized and sponsored by The Heartland Institute which aims to bring together global warming skeptics who, "dispute that the science is settled on the causes, consequences, and policy implications of climate change." At the end of the seventh conference, Heartland Institute president Joseph Bast announced that there were no plans to continue the conferences, due to flagging participation and funding shortfalls. Reality did the job: <Would you mind sharing that science? The science is settled on AGW. It has unequivocally been proved to be a con and a sham.> Since 1998, the Global Alarmists have measured Earthly temperatures and found no increase. You can find any number of reports and graphs showing the actual temperature measurements. Since 1998 CO2 levels have continued to go roaring up so the theory is that temperatures should increase, exactly as predicted by all those Alarmist computer models of what climate will do. But, travesty, temperatures did not increase. Therefore, the models are bung. Therefore their simplistic ideology that CO2 dominates is false. The data is all provided by the Alarmists. The temperature measurements, the CO2 measurements. The computer model predictions. Reality just provided the facts. When there is a debate between computer models and reality, reality is right and computer models are wrong. I paid for three computers on a Russian Zenit rocket to manage the launch of 12 Globalstar satellites. The computers thought one thing, reality did another. Disaster - the 12 satellites crashed into the Siberian forest. Reality was right and my computers were wrong. The Global Alarmists have more than three computers predicting reality. Reality has been as implacable as the Siberian forest. The "Settled Science" has turned out to be false. A con. A sham. All those consensus "scientists" are shown to have been wrong. It will be interesting to see how quickly they admit that their belief was false. So far, they are simply extending the claim "Our theory needs more time" from 5 years, to 10 years and now 15 years but even that lengthy time is up. CO2 has increased, temperatures have not. Forcing is not random. Forcing is not weather. Weather is natural variation. Global Alarmists deny that there is randomness in climate. They pin climate down to forcings driven primarily by CO2 produced by people. They can't have it both ways. Their models failed. Their theory is bung. CO2 is just one variable and not the dominant one, obviously even to a blinded Alarmist. They have a travesty on their hands. Their data proves it. Mqurice
