I guess I'm partly libertarian, but I think we should quit these pussy sports with rules, have the contestants sign documents that they know what they're getting into and assume liability, and bring back televised gladiatorial combat. Also, if we're going to do it, televised live executions with guillotines. That'd be some meaty TV!

Z, And I would outlaw UFC and boxing. That's funny, cause I just watched a wonderful UFC match last Saturday between Benson Henderson and Josh Thomson. Came down to the wire, with a split decision that could have gone either way. Of course, success in UFC and other "mixed martial arts" arenas is fleeting given the injury rates. But I don't think we should deny the fighters a chance to briefly shine in the spotlight using modern fighting techniques that started back when Bruce Lee was still alive. Tenchusatsu
