In a word, the public needs to accept materialism, which means that they must put God (whom Lewontin calls the "Supreme Extraterrestrial") in the trash can of history where such myths belong. Oh we thought that statement by Richard Lewontin the head of Harvard Zoology and Biology didn't fly over anyone's head, "its" pretty clear. What we are seeing is that process of modification of fundy superstition even more realized, think back to 1995 , now look at how things have changed and are changing fast. (maybe not in the loonie boonies) Like habitual running off at the mouth, similary you just ran off & grabbed the first 20yr old outdated paper you could find, laughably found citing Michael Behe's now demolished theory of IR. If you studied Prof Lewontin criticism of neo Darwinists theories on genetics, he's only introducing another bridge to this robust revolutionary field, which was the "Spandrel" into evolutionary theory. This does not take away from anything, only adds more to it, try to keep up.

When looking at how structures emerge, evolve & generated in nature's biological systems, even ones that man has created, certain patterns can be noted in both real, then naturally allegorical & metaphorical terms. Spandrel, bridge, pendentive are now part of the lexicon in the story arch of evolutionary theory. Darwin's Tree of Life still stands tall, they're just adding to it the idea of biochemical scaffolding, the story only becomes enriched. Your 20yr old paper is without merit. Btw, do you really think some magical invisible force "out there" really has a cure for permanent regression & remaining mentally an immature adolescent for the rest of your life?
