Thean..Thank you again for your post #4636; the table now becomes very helpful in that we are almost exactly at the 11/19 prices again. It seems to me that the ratios should be maintained on the way up in a similar fashion to the 11/19-12/8 ratios. This meaning that the best gainers in any coming rounds should go to those with the biggest % gains shown from 11/19-12/8 last time around. Do you concur?
Days like this, it's sure is nice to be a "weathered" trader in the sector. A brief analogy would be that I live a couple of miles from the epicenter of the Loma Prieta earthquake in Northern Calif..Once you go through a 7.3 tremor, the feeling is not soon forgotten, even though the event happened in '89. Watching your life's investment bouncing up and down with yourself being inside like a pinball in a pinball machine is quite a sensation..not knowing if house or person is going to survive the moment...Just like investing in the drillers! So..I thank all for their great posts that have helped gain enough insight [& paranoia] to sell Tuesday morning with good profits...and take to the sidelines with cash.

Thean, I can't give you an explanation for your experience. But as good as your experience may be, I can point to any number of people with horrible experiences. And it seems to me that there were a number of posts on this thread just a few days ago claiming that we had bounced off of resistance levels and prices in the sector were headed back up.

I'm not a trader. I tend to invest for the intermediate to long haul, so I'm not looking for short-term entry and exit points.

Now, if I'm correct in my contentian that T/A doesn't work, that doesn't place on onus on me to provide a substitute. That's like a kid demanding a substitute on hearing that there is no tooth fairy.

I'm just saying that the emperor has no clothes.

Regards,

Paul
