And yet, Obama had the House and a super majority in the Senate for his first two years. So no crying about republican opposition please. Like so many of your posts, this is factually in error. The Democrats only had a super majority in the Senate for less than 2 months. Coleman held up the seating of Al Franken until July 7, 2009. At that point the Democrats did indeed have a super majority in the Senate. That is, until Teddy Kennedy died on Aug. 25, 2009. 2 months != 2 years.
