Joan, no it isn't. Thats standard GE accounting. If a one time gain shows up on their doorstep, you can bet it will be offset by restructuring charges. GE will not warn. I'm sure they have plenty tucked away to cover "surprises". Heck they covered Kidder debacle. It will be smooth sailing until April 2000, Welch retirement date.
