But we ain't anywhere close to that with inflation roaring along at 1.2% on an annualized basis.
It's actually 1.5%, but that's a nitpick.

My belief is that the easy money policies of the Fed are actually the new "trickle-down economics" that is primarily benefitting the rich investor class. That is why inflation isn't hitting the Fed target of 2%.
