Bob, you know I have been on SI for 15 years and for the life of me I never saw this thread,I see it had been active and then died out but maybe we can revamp it? Yes she broke out of the gate wide and with a surge to the lead,the Jock did a good job settling her down by allowing the 2 other speed horses duel it out. I couldn't fly down to Tampa due to business here but I did watch the race on TVG and she closed a ton! One thing to remember,this was here very first race and the trainer told me she ran a bit greenly but that he was very impressed with her performance. He also said she wants a tad more distance so 1 mile will most likely be her next race. I don't follow FLA racing either but she was moved to Tampa for winter training and the trainer found a good spot.We will bring her up to NY in either March or April. I have a partner along with 2 other horses up here in NJ that race at PARX. Thank you for the well wishes and I will keep in touch with you. Regards Benny
