Well Jim,

Here is the plan but let's not get TOO melodramatic here... remember I predicted this sell-off last Saturday and yesterday I predicted 7,800 as support which seems to have held.

I got my first VIX (non unified) buy signal today... generally there are 2-3 of them. Remembering I only have data back to August, the BEST time to buy seems to be according to these rules:

- if the market sells off tomorrow, then buy the close...
- if the market goes up tomorrow, then buy the close on Monday.

HOWEVER, for an options trader like myself, it really doesn't make sense to go into the market at the close on Friday... therefore I will either buy the open Monday for case 1 above or the close Monday for case 2 above. This has the added benefit of seeing my Barron's info over the weekend...

Now remember this also, we have seen a lot of "transferred" volatility from EXPIRY week (it is a doozer - triple witching) in the past... so keep your powder AND your pants dry... you will be money and cleaning bills ahead!

Regards,

Bill
