That wasn't the problem. The problem was they didn't have the roads prepared, and the roads were solid ice .There were accidents throughout the city and by then traffic was at a standstill so emergency vehicle couldn't get to them along with tow trucks or trucks to dump the salt..sand..or whatever. The mayor is a total incompedent. and waited to long to prepare the roads..He said they thought it wasn't going to be that close to Atlanta. They should have cancelled school and been ready for the snow and ice. We picked up our kids at the first snowflake. Naturally they are blaming everyone but themselves. It wasn't the drivers. No one can drive on solid ice. We had 18 wheelers sliding into everyone, until every road and side road was a parking. lot. Any how a very bad ordeal for everyone involved.
