I just thought that the references to "stupid children", "stupid people" and "the best" could maybe be construed as broad generalizations.

From my own experience one never knows where one may find bright children or people, or children who, by dint of enormous personal perseverance and determination, often against substantial odds, greatly improve their lot because of their desire to obtain an education.>>

I agree with you on this. No such thing as a stupid child. All children are sacred.

I have a long standing disagreement over education with many people who think there is such a thing as "college material". I don't believe that for a second. I am a believer almost everyone can go to college and be educated to great heights and I hate trade schools sold as alternatives to those not able to make it through college.

My proof of my position are the Jews. They educate everyone and are only 2% of the population, but look at their numbers in courts, lawyers, docs, universities, arts and entertainment. There numbers in those areas are staggering considering their numbers.

And the reason is that education is a must in their culture!

The numbers of Jews in our institutions should be 2% if people are born smart or dumb, but instead they are so high as to be amazing if you look at the stats.

Just look at all the Jews on MSNBC, or the courts-lol!

Japanese same thing.
