List one self evident right that democracy cannot change.
Let me bring up one that you most likely believe in. Gay marriage.

Most of the time when gay marriage is put to a direct vote, it gets voted down.

Therefore the supporters of gay marriage will go to the courts and let judges decide that gay marriage falls under the "equal protection" clause of the U.S. Constitution.

But that can't be! You said it yourself, the Constitution was written by slave owners. Therefore, in your twisted little mind, it should be thrown away and the rights of gay people should be determined by majority vote.

I'll wait while you contradict yourself again.
