Would you bet your life on those numbers? Would you bet your life on Samsung's consultant's estimates? No, they are estimates, even if I think they seem perfectly plausible. Yes of course, Apple does not compete in the entire tablet market. But if you are looking for a reason for Apple's anemic iPad growth, these numbers might offer you a clue. Or not. As with smartphones, Apple is either dominant in a slow-growing tablet category, or losing share in a fast-growing tablet category.
