All I was saying is to not throw the baby out with the bathwater. The government's measure of inflation doesn't have enough, but just the items you listed aren't enough either. A working index would need some combination. Does that exist? In the absence of that, I will have to go with the official inflation numbers, with some caveats. It's the best we have. -Z
