Brumar: You cowardly and ignorant fellow! There are men on SI. Men who have moral character and who have the balls to settle their differences of opinion with direct posts. But SI also has her share of Cowards and Lowbrows who are such weaklings--such useless twits that they vent their spleen by insulting the family members of other SI posters. Firstly, you have repeatedly lied about my wife and pretended she was superstitious--even though it was explained to you, that in spite her involvement and studies with Native Culture and Religions being conducted with immense respect-- her personal beliefs and values were in no way commingled with (or compromised by) the beliefs of those involved in her research or studies. So two things are obvious: Firstly, you are knowingly creating a false picture of my family in order (you hope) to cause harm and disrespect. And secondly, you are violating a moral imperative recognized and followed by decent people everywhere (and very probably violating SI TOU)--you are bringing innocent and uninvolved people into bulletin board posting rooms in order to press a childish attack against a poster you are too weak and lily-livered to stand up to. In case you are too stupid to recognize the immorality of this--just ask yourself what SI would be like if everybody was as weak and immoral as you? If everybody on SI tried to overcome a lack of argument by the gratuitous and frequent pillorying of innocent spouses and children of posters?? Yes, I think you are an asshole and a very ignorant and immoral fellow. That is my right. But you paid your membership as I did so we CAN talk to AND about one another. BUT...It is immoral to lie and shit on the families of posters--people who are not members--and innocents who have no way of fighting back against your putrid attacks. Do you want SI to encourage this infantile method of venting spleen? When the solution is so simple. JUST BE A MAN. Think about it, fella? What in the Hell is the matter with you? Grow a pair, for Christ's sake... Do you want SI to step in and lock our conversation into little boxes where all our freedoms to express values and opinions are chopped away? Because if you continue to be an asshole, it won't just be slandering families that will be (rightfully) done away with. But the baby will go out with the bathwater. So grow a pair and stop being an asshole!!
