I think that water is so much better than hydrogen. Hydrogen alone is incredibly dangerous. Hydrogen explosions can consume everything around them.

That's not to say that hydrogen is all "bad", because when it is combined with oxygen it makes water. And there really isn't anything better than water, is there?

But here's the thing, the oxygen part is important too. It has to be one single individual oxygen atom, If you make it about an two oxygen atoms instead of the individual...well, then you have H2O2 and that's quite a volatile little hussy isn't it?
