I came from IL and know all about that. A buddy pulled up some plants and brought them to my car when I was 18 ... I was taking him to a job we were working on. They lay in the rear floorboard of my car for weeks or months, I don't know .. till the next time I cleaned out my car ... then I threw them in a trash can.
