thread, take cpq's present channel inventory and cut it by 1/3 to 2 weeks of channel inventory.
then divide that up from the 4000 dealers down to the 500 dealers.
the 500 dealers will need allot more inventory...lots more.
almost 3 times as much and cpq is still at 2 weeks of inventory.
I like it too...
this way I don't have to wait for cpq pcs. they are in stk..
microage has been a channel of mine .
I use compucom now since microage started pushing deliveries out on me. and microage is a backup channel.
the 7 others can sell on black market only

THREAD, I JUST GUESSED AT THE NUMBERS.
IF IT'S 2 TWICES AS MUCH OR 4 TIMES AS MUCH I DON'T KNOW..
I'LL GET TH PRECISE NUMBER NEXT WEEK.
you'll see the strategy of cpq now and how easy it will be to get things to s weeks of inventory...
this system doesn't allow cpq to stuff any channel.
since what goes to microage...comes out of shipments to 7 other deals that are not there.

The current 57 1/2 range is perilous technically...CPQ bulls need to see a stand RIGHT HERE by CPQ, or $42 could be the next stop...
