Another note -

Last November and December, the price of VLNC fell from $6 to around $3 (50%), and then went on to recover to $5, and then to $10 (as we all know). This December, the price has fallen 50% as well, from $9 to $4.50. Anyone see a correlation here?

I'm very upset that we haven't heard a statement from the company regarding the recent trading activity, if for no other reason just to say they are not aware of anything. Are they waiting to announce the OEM deals so that everyone is happy? At this point, I'd take a "know nothing" announcement.

Certainly if "those in the know" are even close to being right, VLNC will be making batteries by Qtr1 98. As I mentioned last week, there were a lot of open call options on VLNC, expecially in December, that investors apparently took out in anticipation of a major announcement before year-end. Looks like it won't happen, so these same investors are trying to find a way to cover their losses. Getting the price down is one way, if they bet the reverse in the short term.

Again, at this point, with such little float and market coverage, VLNC is going to be rocked by the news vacuum and Ind Investors are going to be held hostage to the MMs. Hold tight. Don't let the market scare you into selling an otherwise profitable holding in 98.
