Yeah, I think that is just about as ridiculous a crock of hsit as anything I've ever heard.

You may be able to get a little closer to being what you choose than you could have 20 years ago. But fundamentally, you are still what you were born as.

Don't get me wrong. I don't care. But the idea that a person who was born a male can, at this point in time, because a woman, is just nonsense.

Putting Ford trim on a Chevy doesn't make it a Ford. It is still a Chevy and will be forever.

Remember this was a case involving a fifth grade student. The idea that kids that age can make informed decisions about changing their gender, before they even develop into adults, is really strange. I note again that the whole gay rights / transgender rights is being inserted into schools. Elementary schools. This is subversion.
