I would be happy to take over this thread and turn it into the old "Left Wing Porch" with a liberal political bias. I say this because there are so many right wingers and right wing threads on SI that there needs to be at least one true liberal political thread on SI. I mean true discussion from a real liberal point of view. No BS, no centrist crap, no political bureaucrats. I've been banned at one time or another from every right wing and pseudo Democratic political thread on SI. I promise you the right wing on SI will stay clear of this liberal thread if I moderate it. And I'll be real nice and fair as long as one is a real liberal, with real compassion and sensitivity to the issues of the day that concern liberals.

I will gladly moderate this thread and will gladly show you the CORRECT way to do it. Where people are not banned because they disagree with the majority view or the moderator's view. Where free expression is permitted so long as other people are not injured by it. Where it isn't a cheering section for one political party. Oh, wait a minute. None of those things are consistent with the reason for this thread's existence. Never mind.
