'Saturday Night Live' Slams Sarah Palin: Worse than Vietnam POW Camp During the "Weekend Update" segment on NBC's "Saturday Night Live," co-anchor Cecily Strong suggested Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) had a harder time dealing with former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK) as a running mate than he did in Vietnam as a prisoner of war... Graduates of "The Bill Maher School of Comedy." you sure they graduated? From that school? With honors. Everyone got a trophy. Didn't matter how poorly they performed. Al Franken. Need I say more? People forget that McCain was behind in the election stats until he chose Palin. Then he went ahead and stayed there until he foolishly left the campaing to return to the Senate and vote for the bail out. People also forget that as governor and former mayor, she had more exec. experience than Obama. Further, SNL's Tina Fey showed her profound ignorance of geography with the "I can see Russia" idiocy. As gov. of AK if Palin had been standing on Little Diomede, she easily could have seen Russia's Big Diomede island one mile away. Comics are not rocket scientists, but they are good propagandists.The Left was smarter than the right. They knew to take over media, education, entertainment and bureaucracy, bide their time and let those soft forms of government do their job. And do their job they have. Name a movie in the last thirty years that has cast socialists or Demcrats as the bad guys.
