When in the USA, I always lived in NY. But I travelled to DC for the big demonstrations. I know DC ok (not great). Outside of the capital, I've been to Georgetown (Wisconsin Ave), Dupont Circle and all along Colombia Road. I've been to Northern VA, too. Arlington, Crystal City Plaza, Alexandria (Duke Street), and Fairfax (with the big malls). I'd never live in a political pig capital like DC. That area is a sh$t bin. Oh yea, I've been to National's Park and Verizon center. Rookie? I was 16 years old, fresh from fighting in the Arab/Israeli War in 69 when I came back to the USA. No way was I going to fight in the Vietnam war.
