This market reminds me of the 1994 Hong Kong Stock Market. The Hang Sang Index had a stellar year in 1993 and then began the new year with a major sell off. It was a brutal Bear in 1994. I know because I made 50% (in 6 months) in a new Fidelity Southeast Asia Fund in 93 , which was heavily overweighted in Hong Kong and then cashed out very early in 1994. I see the same thing happening here in the US. This bull has been so fantastic primarily because it reflects the exact opposite of what is going in the real US economy. Record valuations (yes, I know that has meant nothing), margin and consumer debt at record levels, to call this market a speculative gambling casino would be an understatement. The reality is that this market is in the outer hemisphere of super fantasy land. Let's just pretend.

When this market breaks, it will break hard, for there is no solid economic underpinning. As you know, it has all been fueled by QE and Fed buying. Now they are cutting back. Clearly, that translates into cutting back the gains. This country is no longer a democracy, yet alone a republic. Sorry to say, but we are living in the Fascist Totalitarian state with commander Obama calling the strings.Obamacare has high premiums, outrageous deductibles, but no service. Sounds to me that the consumer is making a payola to the mafia insurance companies. Income disparity is at record levels and growing at every moment. And the overriding response of the public is one of despair, cynicism and submission. Most of my customers are crying big time and begging me to lower prices. And it's the worst I've heard in over 30 years.

We have clowns on SI who give bearish targets and talk the bearish talk, yet are 90% long. Words, language has become completely cut off from its source. Obama has become the master of that.

I think the bull is over and we transition into another brutal secular bear here. I won't rule out a retest of the highs first and a double top.

Sad days for 80% of Americans. I know because I deal with them.
