It is very possible that CIEN will hit bottle-necks like you say. They deal with a lot of customized systems. In fact, every customer has different requirements.

Very many companies fail when they try to keep growing at high rates. The competition is already out there deploying systems too and customers don't like to be kept waiting.

If CIEN is to build 300 systems next year with a 45 day delivery time that means they have 7 systems in the works at any given time on average. It probably takes a team of 30 people to do the assembly of one system so that's 210 people needed in manufacturing. They have that level of staffing now but training takes time. Just a very rough guess.
