MUSA - perhaps I should also buy a tracking position. :)

MUSA,

Spek, I believe in the spin-off fairy.

It seems like any spin-off company with decent valuation/prospects ends up going gangbusters. Recently it may be somewhat related to the big bull market, but do I know that spin-offs outperform nicely as measured over long historical time periods.

MUSA,

One thing I'd mention is that it is not so clear that other companies in the sector are doing well. Take a look at CST, PTRY, TA -- they seem like comps to me, and the charts and recent news updates aren't exactly inspiring.

It looks like recent sales and 2014 guidance so far are not so great, although it is no surprise with the cold snap.
