But, you or someone else calculated that it would be 1 of every 10 iPhone users. That doesn't seem too high. What is the percentage of iPhone users that already own an iDevice? For these folks (like me), one more would not be a big deal. For others, they would just need the iWatch to have one critical "App" and they would buy one too.
I can't fathom 1 in 10 iPhone users essentially increasing their cost of ownership to $1,000 (assuming $700 iPhone and $300 watch), given that it is an additional device to carry around and makes only a few functions more convenient. But let's say it did achieve that level of penetration... would that generate $17 billion in additional sales?
