In a free society those capable who govern themselves well create immense wealth where the benefits accrue mostly to others. Sometimes, the residuals make the best incredibly prosperous.

That's a pretty new phenomenon. Started mostly in Scotland just five centuries past, blossomed in N Europe, then the USA in the 18th and 19th, only recently began inroads in the far East, always with delightful effect.

Primitive and destructive remnants of a more bestial time goad some to envy and resentment, where they unthinkingly attack their betters, i.e, The Koch bros.
