am surrounded by russians here on koh samui at least the ones we engage w/ on the beach seem very okay, of course all have kids in toll we had taken a private boat to check out the marine reserve, fish, hike and kayak the day earlier wife and daughter joined a tour boat 'getting in touch w/ the masses' w/ about 100 passengers and did whatever the group did, and they noted somewhat surprised, contrary to experience that the mainlanders and russians, about 50/50, are civilized in so far as lining up, serving food, leaving some for the next person, taking care of the fallen, etc etc - behavior seems to be changing, or people changing, watch n brief continuing
