Absolutely, inflection points are hard to project on either side.

I tend to believe in Apple's ability to find new product categories. The problem is that they have to be huge to move the revenue/profit needle. That is particularly true if iPhone profits were to actually decline.

Personally, Apple is fairly well set up for FY2015. A new product category plus a large screen iPhone should allow for continued profit growth. Beyond 2015, it is going to be more difficult to defend iPhone profits so any new products are going to need to be big.
