Biblical skeptics like to have it both ways. OTOH they like to compare OT stories to ancient myths like the Gilgamesh epic and liken Solomon's wisdom literature to similar literature from ancient Egypt. But then otoh, they like to claim "OT is a Hellenistic work which must have been produced after 330 BC." Well, these two things conflict. Things like the Gilgamesh epic (18th century BC) and Egyptian wisdom literature (circa 2500 - 1075 BC) long predate the Hellinistic era. So which is it? Does it matter to the skeptics if their claims contradict one another? Guess not.
