The problem I see is that the defendants didn't just make this assertion on a knee jerk response. They maintained it for many months afterwards, despite having the issues pointed out to them.

I am sure you were able draw a sigh of relief today..

Your wise group of very well fed GOP senators were able to halt those spendthrift Dems from doling out any more unemployment compensation to the better part of 2 million American malingerers

One can only hope that they all get large splinters in their fat asses as they pay their respects to Jesus this Sunday
