The Hebrew scriptures go right back to the Creation of the Universe by God and claim to be a direct Revelation from God. The fact that people who don't believe in God also don't believe the possibility of direct Revelation is hardly surprising. Naturalists by definition will accept no answer that is not Naturalistic. Duh! If all Human societies have a common origin it's not surprising that they would share similar stories about that origin. Abraham was from Ur and was likely a Chaldean. The Chaldeans were Idol worshipers and worshiped many Gods.
