I suggest you take a look at Mac market share numbers over the past decade. With the new Mac Pro, the new MacBook Pros and the updated iMac's, I predict the market share will continue to increase when compared to Windows.
It has fluctuated through the years, but has never been dominant. They are still a niche player in that area. But they have nice margins... it's just a limited market. Could they eventually dominate? Sure, can't rule that out. But nothing indicates that's going to happen, especially with (and perhaps because of) their premium. People can buy $350 17-inch laptops... and those who can't afford more aren't likely pay much more.
