NN I would agree with. CSCO still too beloved by managers. They'd rather part with their Porsches. Anyway, good luck finding an uptick.

Craig

Glad to hear you have joined the ranks of the COMS longs. I have appreciated your efforts to stimulate discussion of 3 Com. In my opinion, the stock cannot hold up to the tremendous tech selling pressure we are experiencing currently. However, when the selling subsides, COMS will do well. The company has taken the correct steps to the alleviate channel problems in what I consider a financially honest manner. Wall Street abhors "uncertainty" as much as nature abhors a "vacuum". The stock price moves in opposite directions to the uncertainty level surrounding it. Hence COMS stock recovered after management's announcement.

Look into the NICs that COMS is now shipping that are compliant with Tivoli's app framework. This is appealing to their enterprise accounts because it reduces total cost of ownership. Intel is playing catch up.

Stew
