Yes, but that was true of cell phones in 2007, when less than 1% of cell phones cost more than $600. Apple help build the premium segment (of all handsets) to (I would guess) >15% in 5 years. At least one of the contributing factors is the increased handset subsidies across the globe, so that's one rather permanent change that suggests the shift towards a higher mix of premium handsets is permanent.
