We all hallucinate at times. Especially when tired.

When I was young and on the road in Alaska, I once saw fairies in front of my eyes when I was really tired and stressed sleeping outside. It was gloomy and I was depressed I think.

When driving tired I see lots of weird shit that isn't real.

PS you had no need to worry. Wolves never attack people. But running was the worst thing you could have done-lol.

In Alaska moose are the dangerous ones and of course brown bears.

I run into black bears almost every year riding my bike. I know to turn away immediately avoiding eye contact, and walk away slowly staying out of their path. It is a little scary though. Especially if I am alone with no place to go.

Boy do I live around a lot of bears. I have to watch for them every week just taking the garbage out.
