The activity on the calls could have been people closing positions. One thing I have learned is that when you are a couple of weeks from options expiration and a big cap stock plunges don't buy options for that month.

Chances are the MM will not move the stock up unless there are thousands of buys.

The MM wants the options to expire worthless. I like the options but I wouldn't want the Decembers or Januarys. I'd get the Feb or later but I wouldn't buy in the money, and I wouldn't risk to much.

Also, I think the options buyers at this point are those who owned the stock, loaded up at 1 5/8 and thinking if it rebounds to 26 or 27 they will make most of their money back.

Well, the Dec 22 1/2 are now worth 5/8. Unless the market comes back big (I hope it does) they are going to be worth zero.
