You talk about being in the shoes. I have been in the shoes. You do not know me. You have not posted long enough on the thread here.

I have rubbed noses with communists and that experience brought me to dislike and distaste communism as well as labor unions because I saw how they exploit labor for political political gains. I have also experienced capitalism because they exploit labor too but for personal gains. Besides, all capitalists think only they are the hard workers and that their labor does not want to work hard. I am seeing you with that argument.

So that leaves me to embrace socialism which I proudly do. Besides, socialism does both; lets you make money while at the same time ensuring that you pay your share to uplift the society that helps you to make that money. That social responsibility is sanctioned officially, ingrained in the laws and not left to individual interpretations. Societies vote Govt. in to ensure that interest of the society is upheld. That is what I consider a nation of laws. The US is headed that way. It is destined to follow Europe's lead. Nations transition to socialism because of a post WWII situation where economies are shattered after devastating wars. The Iraq and Afghan wars were fought on credit cards.
