To All: Will QNTM suffer or benefit from SE Asia crisis?
Quantum's manufacturing partner, Matsushita-Kotobuki Electronics Industries Ltd. (MKE) has plants in Japan, Ireland and Singapore. Also manufactures in Japan (Ipponmatsu (MKE)). Will reduced manufacturing costs more than offset reduced sales in SE Asia?

I think that's a bit harsh. Fact is SEG and WD knew earlier because their disasters were worse. QNTM had (has) a back-end loaded quarter and could not know 2-3 weeks ago where this Q would end up unless they were as bad off as the others.
