Your perception is very strange to me. Think about the word echo and what it means. It means I am just repeating what someone else says without understanding it. I understand it quite well. A very important concept is that the human species does not deduce things! We learn! Civilization started advancing when we developed written language and could pass on information. Will Durant wrote the great History of civilization over a 40 year period. It is the last word so to speak. " Education is the transmission of civilization Using your definition college would be an echo chamber. And so what really matters is who are you listening to. Who are you learning from? If you are echoing MSNBC it is like echoing Plato, Shakespear, Bertrand Russell, or Albert Einstein. If you are echoing FOX it is like echoing the National Enquirer. Mindless gibberish. But do you not understand I know what they are talking about, on both FOX and MSNBC. I know enough to be able to learn from them without being fooled by them. To compare FOX and MSNBC is such a huge mistake. Watching MSNBC one learns from some of the smartest people on earth. And I have spent a life time reading the smartest people on earth. And there is no script, just smart thinking. Watching FOX is like watching a bunch of mindless sociopathic children and what the say is at best dumb and at worst lies. Roger Ailes writes their script. Very important to know the difference. I would remind you I wrote our states first state plan for both EMS and alcoholism and drug abuse and did both by myself and from my own mind. I also have an MPA degree from the University of Washington. Give me some credit for knowing a few things myself. <<I like you a lot but you are in an echo chamber no doubt as is most anyone who proudly call themselves a staunch liberal or conservative and watches MSNBC or FOX religiously.. Do you even realize the boom going on in Texas? I see the stupidity on the other side by conservatives constantly putting down CA. Al the growth going forward is more RED or PURPLE states be it TX, FL, NC, GA where cost of living are reasonable>>
