I believe now that the Street expects an announcement from AMAT sometime this Qtr lowering expectations(If thats possible). If it doesn't happen, great. If it does happen and AMAT gives the indication that it is only minor, then I don't think the price will move much. If AMAT comes out and says we are getting hit hard, then we will see today all over again. AMAT does keep a backlog that they can tap into to help smooth out earnings. I seem to remember hearing that they held back a little last quarter... Does anyone remember the details? Then again, what do I know?
