Whether any bit of that "conspiracy theory" is true or not... it does require that we have a shared obligation... that is shared even by the most irrational and easily confused of the easily duped "advocates"... We share a common need... to make sure the element in conspiratorial design revealed... is not true, will not be allowed to become true, cannot become true, and will not ever be allowed to succeed ? Being duped into thinking global warning is a real problem that has been "proven by science"... is not a reason to be duped into agreeing to empower others in taking political control away from you, while aggregating it for unaccountable use by others, who intend on violating your rights... ? So, where is the point of common agreement among those who recognize the "science" in global warming theory is BS... that it is slaved to irrationality, and driven by a political agenda... and those dupes who advocate unknowingly to enable centralized control by corporations... and every aspect of its future extension once that first bit of control has been surrendered ? Is it the dupes agenda... to preserve and protect diversity and natural variation... or is to enable the future imposition of corporate controls on natural systems, and political systems, that will mean surrendering rights while enabling others to modify the economy (to benefit themselves), manage the environment (to benefit themselves), including even managing the weather (to benefit themselves) while eliminating individual freedoms, and natural variation... all without any accountability ? What controls exist, on their proposed "solutions"... that will prevent those solutions being offered... from becoming the source of problems that will easily be able to sweep the dupes away, when they become inconvenient ? Global warming theorists would be harmless cranks, like other types of Luddites... if they weren't aggressively seeking to use their bogus "theory"... as a pretext to enable and justify an even more bogus right to impose and exercise controls on others.
