I just had to post this from the AOL thread. I'm still laughing. I figured a little humor would be good for all the people here that are bleeding out the outballs.

institutional stock, and the others aren't. So AOL was most likely among the
companies I know to be the target of the much-ballyhooed "flight to safety.

Apparently, this individual bought AOL because it doesn't have any exposure to Asia and is a "safe" institutional stock that was likely to rebound because it was unfairly marked down by the market to around $70/share with a p/e of only 140. You know the market is in trouble when AOL is described as a defensive, undervalued stock. . .
