I watched FOX News Sunday where George Will and Laura Ingraham were on the show. It was treat to watch George Will badgering Laura and the Tea Party on the issue of immigration. George Will is a old school conservative. Democrats would be wise to support folks like him to battle the extremists instead of battling the extremists themselves. It was great to see the Tea Party defeated in Wyoming with the stepping aside of Liz Cheney. Just sit back and watch the infighting within the Republican Party. Reagan, who edicted all Republicans to stand together and won total support for that idea during his time, must be turning in grave watching this happen.

Seems American's get soft once your family is here three generations. I see it in both white and black America whose roots go way back.. You can see what the European immigrants did in building many of our great cities of the north and west coast during the largest migration 1870-1955. Also what is happening the past 35-40 years from east Asia, India even some middle eastern countries in helping the USA dominate in STEM. This goes back to my theory folks need to empower themselves, use that chip on your shoulder to prove yourself and do something useful being patient till the fruits of your labor harvest but also need that strong family as a base of support as it is a long process. The animal spirit and can do thinking somehow gets lost once many become too Americanized all IMHO. I am first generation myself btw..
