Imran: Right, who will be buying 16meg chips when 256 meg chips become commercially available? Could mu become a cash cow when all the asian competitors are crippled by the bank doors being closed to them? I have not followed MU before, but this thought intrigues me.

imran, samsung and toshiba and lgs will not shut down. they will cut back on capacity expansion in the future. however. this year and next year are already set in stone and mu is toast for a bare minimum of the next 2 qs.
